REAKTOR can be used as a synthesizer, sampler, effects processor, groovebox, and much more. High quality signal processing algorithms and the 32-bit floating point precision of REAKTOR's audio engine guarantee sound quality that meets the highest demands. The steadily growing REAKTOR libraries contain hundreds of different instruments with thousands of presets for a very wide range of sound generation and audio processing applications. ??? What is all this about "not carbonized"?
I found this under OS X updates - and it is (there are updates on the NI site for OS 9 and OS X ... there's even an AU included! ... and a carbonized VST). Right now its running here as standalone in 10.2.6.
