Product Description:

This is one of the most popular Doom source ports. It's available for DOS, Win32, Linux, OS/2 and Mac OS X. It enhances Doom with a lot of things like OpenGL & split screen games and more

What's new in this version:

  • Now based on the Cocoa version of Quake from fruitz-of-dojo
  • More stability improvements
  • Save games & config files & screenshots stored in ~/Library/Application Support/
  • FSAA via a console variable (vid_fsaa)
  • WAD files in the games resources directory

This is a great port. It even works at unusual widescreen resolutions. Slight graphics glitches (nothing major), and otherwise just wicked smooth. Anyone have a link to download the original full Doom/Doom2 WADs?

quite simply awesome and it doesn't need a G5 to play well - though i am using a dual G5 without any troubles. A superb chance to play doom / heretic all over again, and why now! Download this today!!!!!

kuran.bmr
allows me to play Heretic in OSX deserves 5 stars. One suggestion I have, add a .wad selector window on startup so I don't have to shuffle game .wads if I want to play a different game.
