Most of Camedia's features are already available in the far superior iPhoto however it is needed to join together photos taken using the panoramic mode on my Olympus mju300 camera.
I have had no success whatsover, getting the same "out of memory" message as others have reported. Olympus technical support claim to be able to stitch up to five images but have not been able to tell me how they managed it. The Read Me file on the CD states that final panoramic image cannot be larger than 4096x4096 - this means I can't use more than two images in a panorama!!
Absolutely useless - please don't even think wasting your money on the Pro version. Thankfully this software came free with my camera.

My camera came with this and Photoshop Elements. Olympus are a good company but Camedia is an average product. It might suit PC users.

This software's worse at everything than iPhoto. The only thing it's supposed to do that iPhoto doesn't is stitch panoramas. But it doesn't do that, it just puts up an error message: "cannot allocate sufficient memory." I've tried it on-
A G3 with 284 MB of RAM
A G4 533 with 768 MB of RAM
A G4 350 with 512 MB RAM
A G5 3.0 DP with 1 GB RAM and 145 GB of free HD space.
And I still get this error.
I called tech support. They kept me on the phone for an hour with stupid things that didn't fix the problem, and then told me they'd call me back. That was at the beginning of June, and they never called back.
I like Olympus cameras, but only get one if you're planning on never using their software; it's as bad as it gets.

This is an ugly software unable to save panoramas without saying "cannot allocate sufficient memory". I use a PowerBook 17" with 1GB RAM and expect to build nice panoramas with such an amount of RAM! Even with 2 pictures in perspective mode, that f.. software tells me that not enough RAM is available.

I bought your camera and it came with it. Why do I have to pay for something you did mot complete in 4.0?

to say one thing about Olympus cameras and OS X: Who needs a driver? I've plugged my c2040 into 3 Macs and have never had any problems. I've had several problems getting it to work with Windows computers, but just want to make it clear to those of you considering buying Olympus cameras, I could care less about this software. Get Photoshop or Elements.
Truly horrible software.…

Read below reviews by Jookie and lyzenga for details. It's all true. I don't understand how the same company that produces such fine cameras can produce such awful software for them.
I only wish…

I had read this page first. I am such a loser for buying into the hipe the website offered. DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT! The reason I bought it was for the "easy" saving of panoramic shots in vr format. There is a size limit, so I get a "cannot allocate sufficient memory warning" everytime I try to save. Support offers "wow, that's an interesting problem!" to my inquiries. GUI is windows-esque, and clunky! I give it one star for the slick promotion on its website.
Bad, just plain…

bad. Ugly interface (Think Windows junkware) and ugly results. The only reason I tried it was for the Panorama stitiching feature and it was far inferior to results I got from the 1.0 version of Camedia Master on OS9. DO NOT buy the pro version, you are wasting your money!
As you may see I am not pleased with the prduct or its sponsors, although I love Olympus cameras and own way too many of them to be treated this way. I used to own Nikons, but Olympus made a believer out of me more than twenty years ago. Now my first choice is Olympus and my second would be Canon. And I still believe Olympus is the best buy.
