calculator with most of the functions I need, but disappointed that I couldn't format the output. My wish list: Add the standard SCI (10^N), ENG(10^3N), FIX (no exp), and COM (comma's every 10^3) formatting options. Also, I occasionally need to convert decimal to binary to hex and back. Something I haven't seen on other calculators but would be pretty handy for most sw types, the ability to put in a code (dec or hex) and have the ASCII character(s) put on the screen.

I need, and free! It's also very fast and responsive, especially for a Java app.

my needs save for the fact that the 'c' key is linked to the 'ceil' button, not the 'c' is for clear button - something standard on most other calculators. change this and you have a fan. and another star.
