the comments I read do not make any sense, speed, quality, upgrading fee!! I have two Macs, and I am not getting these results. watch out. I am still waiting for Hebbard to respond to me about speed.
Fonts look like the days I was using system 6. even vector drawing is choppy.

I'm using this as a replacement for Photshop Elements since the INTEL switch and actually I'm quite pleased by the application.

As Photoshop is just out of range for my needs I looked for alternatives and came along Photoline.

The only issues are that the interface is not up to the current Mac interface, it's more a mix of OS9 and Windows. This might not be a surprise as the application exists on both Windows and Mac OS X. Some of the Dialogs are somewhat confusing though.

It has a lot of power and functionality and a low price tag in relation.

There's a 30 day trial period, so you can test it pior investing the money.

great program, not only for images, many good features, fast even with great images. I use it since last year an never missed PSE!
BTW: There are also users in germany, not only the developer and Apple didn't want any fee for upgradig from 10.4.10 to 10.5.0?

PhotoLine ReviewA lightweight powerful design app - Version: 14.01, 11/20/2007 10:33AM PST

I have to replace a publishing app, which is no longer supported for the Mac platform, so I tried every app, which was available for a reasonable fee - I don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars for a single app with millions of (unneeded) features. This app has the features I need and provides the required CYMK output for print.
I could finish a couple of real tasks during the evaluation period, I could do everything I wanted to do -— and save it in the desired format, ready to go.
I think the registration fee is a good investment -— for me it’s the app to create everything between a business card and a poster.

Great price. Great support.

Try it out.

It's become my photo/image editor, my layout and design program, and my "gotta rip this PDF apart" tool.

Great price. Great support.

I use it for serious photo and image editing, as well as layout and design. Working with PDF's is still slow, but at least you can tear them apart to your hearts content, and I'm sure Mr. Huber will get it working even better in future releases.

There's very little you can't do with PhotoLine 32.

Try it out.

Incredible... update fees for version 13.52 (sic) to 14 !!!

Look at the commentary of the developper : straight and narrow :

"This number is not reconize with the new version ?

no, it works only up to version 13.52
If you want to use version 14, you have to buy an upgrade (29 Euro)."

So you got the idea.
