A technical description of how the Quantum Mechanic works is available for you digital camera wizards out there.Both the Pro and Lite versions of Quantum Mechanic bring new features such as auto contrast, luminance sharpening, and Photoshop 5 48-bit support. The Quantum Mechanic Lite has a new simplified interface. The Quantum Mechanic Pro has complete control of all filtering parameters. Quantum Mechanic Pro also includes a plug-in called Band Aide filter for the Nikon D1. For the Macintosh only, Quantum Mechanic Pro also includes a plug-in called Moire EraserTM which removes color moire.
