DrDJ ReviewLooks Pretty Good - Version: 3.0b2, 2/3/2006 01:01PM PST

Once I figured out to press the select button and then drag the record to the turntable, the app looked pretty good and easy to use.

DrDJ ReviewIt works - Version: 3.0b2, 9/10/2003 10:30PM PST

DrDJ Free does what it does simply and well, I got confused as to how to add songs to the playlist as I thought you would be able to drag them from the iTunes Library Window to the Playlist Window. The developer should implement this as it would make the program more intuitive. The app does not do exactly what it says it does yet as it is still a beta version, but once the rest of the features are implemented it will be an easy to use and simple app. Good job so far, this app has a lot of potential.

DrDJ CommentaryRoxio Jam - Version: 3.0b2, 9/10/2003 07:22PM PST

Jam from Roxio (comes with toast but easy to find free off of any file sharing app). I OWN IT:-) it allows for crossfade and YOU CAN BURN THE CROSSFADE. Few apps do that on mac. iTunes does crossfade but doesnt burn.

DrDJ Reviewwhy no manual fade? - Version: 3.0b2, 9/10/2003 06:48PM PST

Mark Secker UWA
OK early days/basic program so no pitch/key shift OK but no manual fadeout? I want to grab a slider and , well, slide it :) can you add that? can the x-fade time be more variable than arbitary 0, 5 , 10 etc seconds - maybe a slider on that?

apart from that a nice small player with some potential but no substitute yet for other programs out there

DrDJ Commentarycorrection - Version: 2.0.1, 9/6/2003 07:10AM PST

iTunes only does fading at the end of songs, and not giving much control over how long the transition should last.<br>
This application gives you more control, and adds another thing that iTunes lacks: a queue

the problem of the program crashing whenever i tried to load a skin. The program also seemed to crash for no good reason when i was just listening to music. A little more work will make this a great app.
