Media 100i Reviewupgrade - Version: 8.2.1, 12/1/2003 02:47PM PST

the true test of this upgrade will be its ability to work on G4's and non Panther X
there really isnt a market for G5 Media 100 at the moment because you need a Expansion chassis to hold the boards. And the smaller bug fixes like the spacebar and "save as" commands are welcome but really this isnt an upgrade to be excited about, unless you're digividman , and just worked up into a frenzy about whose codecs bigger than whom-

experienced editor wouldn't have the problems you experienced. Media 100 is geared to professioanl video editors... not tech heads. It is easily the simplest, most direct interface for editing on the market. I love Final Cut Pro as well, but Media 100 is very straight forward... particularly when dealing with some of the heavy technical issues that can surround video editing.

because Media100 and Final Cut 3.x cannot be installed on the same system at the same time. FCP is better, so I'll go with that.
