better than v1, nice output, tidy file sizes, nice control on extrudes, lathes etc but it still crashes happily and regularly. And yes, Jason, I have upped the memory - 768Mb should be enough no?

Swift 3D ReviewThe only app… - Version: 2.0, 10/17/2001 03:40PM PST

I know of that does 3d vector output and in the SWF format. After using 3d app's for quite so time (but I'm no pro) I find the timeline, orientation of lighting and objects, general user-friendliness not very enjoyable whatsoever. Woe the day I need to do something with much complexity! Really could do with lots of work to make it more professional, haven't seen this version tho'. On the PC one has so many choices when it comes to this aspect.. esp. swf output from Max! Sticking with Mac tho' and shall persevere when I time arises!

crappy interface as version 1, almost no difference... why is this an update? Certainly isn't a version 2.0 update... Hard to use, but sometimes, it's worth it since there is no alternative. Macromedia where are you?...

a bad name to both Flash and 3D. It's interface is the worst I've seen, and it does not blend well with other apps. Very poor. But it outputs 3D SWF files, and not very many products can say that. I did a logo spin in it (http://www.dorseygraphics.com) which is VERY simple, and it took about five hours. A partial waste of time. Definitely a product which is NOT worth $150. Maybe $30 tops.
