Works like a charm for me

After trying some templates in Pages, I got Design Pro and gave it a try. It required a little more set-up than I thought it would, but the results are impeccable. I wish all free software was this good! No more Pages templates for me - this is my go-to business card app from now on. [Running OS 10.4.11 on 2 year-old iMac.]

Agree with points made in the "Be Very Careful with this!" post. This is buggy software which should be avoided...not only does it crash without warning but the installer seems to put "hooks" in places you wouldn't expect. As a minimum, an uninstaller should be included.
For a free alternative, suggest using Avery's "Design & Print Online" component. When you finish designing your product online, just turn the sheet into a .pdf file and print with any application which reads such files.

Avery DesignPro Mac OS X is buggy! While it is free, and quite functional, I had it crash my system twice now, and it saves completed forms in quirky ways, sometimes not saving them or saving a blank form where there should have been data. Also the support in India or whereever, has no clue about these issues. Their basic answer to almost any question is delete the application and re-install it, and oh-by-the-way delete cookies in your browser before you download...
I found that when DesignPro crashes it screws up lots of things, requiring permissions repairs in Disk Utility and crashing other apps that happen to be open at the same time. It is true that reinstalling the app/package does temporarily fix the problem however. This is a non-standard app, so beware Mac heads!
