2.6.2 is only qualified to run on Mac OS 8.1 or later. System Disk does not work correctly with ATA disks in Slave mode. Be aware all you OS X Beta users !! Culled from the Apple TIL file : *IMPORTANT: This version of System Disk can only be used with Mac OS X Server 1.2. It is not compatible with Mac OS X Public Beta."

this with System Disk 3.3 for OS X Beta or DP4 booting out of Mac OS. If you use this you could be in DEEP S**T after you Open Firmware is modified- locked in a recursive loop....

Beta, replace the 'Startup Disk' with the'Sytem Disk' v. 3.3 control panel which can be found on the Beta disk in 'Utilities'. I looked all over Apple's downloads before thinking to look on my own local CD. Thanks for the advice, Gerbil, on not using this old System Disk app.
