One of the best apps I've used...

...of any type. Was able to enter family information immediately. Then the features revealed themselves to great depth as I used it further. The only significant problem I am having is with step and adopted relationships. The app allows this information but does not use it consistently. The kinship reports in particular do not use the information at all and so the output is confusing and incomplete. I've been disappointed to get no response on the issue from the developers but am hopeful that the issue will be addressed before too long.
Simply the best for the Mac

I tried the other genealogy programs for the Mac and they all fall short except for Mac Family Tree. MFT has the best visual presentation and features by far. Updates are frequent and they address software issues and add new features very quickly. The best $49 I've spent in a long time!

I've owned MacFamilyTree since Version 5.1 in early 2008 and I've got 5 major versions for free with many new functions totally free of charge. Great!
The app has so far been working flawlessly so far, the only downside is the unintuitive sourcing system but I am positive the developer will solve this soon.
