Would be nice to set an saparate duration for each image
and a loop option for the movie.
and a loop option for the movie.
Excellent app, but wee bit pricey.

Started last night with a huge amount of stills that I had taken from my webcam app when Huricane Andrew came through (I my power died, I didn't want to have a corrupted, unusable QuickTime movie from my 'cam app). Takes a few minutes to produce the timelapse movie from the stills, but that's perfectly reasonable from 1,440 of 'em. I will buy the shareware, since it's been so helpful, but I thinksomewhere between $10 and $15 would be the more reasonable price for the functionality.

right. I have QT Pro and it does this already. There is another software (or shareware) which allows numerous transitions as well but takes a long time to export to QT movie. For those with deep pockets or have access to Office X, try the Powerpoint slide show effects. They are excellent. Allows much quicker transitions and also allows a slide shoe of multipe movie clips in QT.

this, so I won't rate it, but I agree with previous posts about QT Pro being able to do this too. And actually, there's one better which is free- it's called iMovie. If you have that, this program is not needed, since you can pull in still images and specify how long each frame stays on screen, plus choose from cool transitions and even put in sound tracks in the back. Of course, it's possible this app is far faster and easier to use, but at least iMovie is free (technically)

wonderful but its Open Image Sequence feature is rather rigid about filenames. For example, image_020101_200204_352883.jpg is unacceptable (must be a sequence of letters followed by a sequence of numbers). Quickmovie doesn't seem to care.

this already. If I'm going to pay for shareware, why shouldn't I just pay for QTPro and get everything else it does?

effective. Its really simple and customizable, thats good. Bout the only this I dont like is that its 20.00!!! When I can can get another one exactly the same for free!! That part really sucks, so im not going to pay for something that i can get for free. But none the less it does what I want to do and Im gratful so it gets a four star rating.

nice if it sorted images by their name. image.245 and then image.1 ? just use Graphic Converter - it gives you way more control too.
But I would really appreciate a support for AppleScript:
tell application QuickMovie
load settings
add images from myFolder
save movie in anotherFolder
end tell
