be wary of: Back the info up and store it somewhere safe! I lost hundreds of pages of important info shortly I upgraded to OSX. Novices (like me) could easily click on the wrong button when you are transferring files, or when you are trying to find the original info after you've already bought the Pads program, and they ask you to pay for it. Pads just doesn't upgrade simply -- You do it wrong, and you've lost everything. If you have a clear understanding of "preferences" files and where data is kept, you'll probably be okay. Ergonomically speaking, I would say this program is not the best for people like myself who have not grasped all the intricacies of the computer world yet.

great product! I wanted a powerful, versatile, customizable, searchable, Stickies-like, NotePad-like program. Pads is it! Tried MANY others and Pads is by far the tops. Thanks.

using all the updated versions of Pads for over two years now. Love it better than notepad and stickies. Works great! Strongly recommend it for all - novices and experts alike.
