1.4 in order to try out 'Earthdesk'. All well for a while but then couldn't start up normally faultless iMac 700 beyound extensions marching across screen- total freeze. All now well after clean re-install, reverting to 1.4 and dumping earthdesk- sadly... A coincidence? Steve Howe

major problems. DataBrowser controls (lists) cache their data and don't seem to check if memory is available. Scrolling through one of this can crash an app after a peroid of time. Also - a single click in a scrollbar arrow results in a large movement.

1.5 have problems with some third party devcie drivers. In my case it was the extension for my LaCie external highspeed CD-ROM. 1.5 would not install and I would get an error -36, I/O error. When I installed 1.4, it damaged the LaCie extension. I went ahead and install 1.5 while the extension was damaged and then replace the damaged extension, now all is well.

if you're using 9.0.4. It caused hyper-senstive Finder behavior. Examples: single-clicking on icons would actually launch the file/application, click-and-dragging a window's title bar would actually window-shade them up or down, icons would not respond to clicks at all sometimes, etc. Very annoying. Reverted to 1.4 and all is fine.

update did not work. Even the Apple site did not show it under any seach criteria. Had to get it from VersionTracker. Downloaded and installed with no problems. This should be installed under OS 9+ and NOT OS X.

PB G3 pismo today via software update, and upon reboot found that a long-time problem of the PB freezing for several minutes at reboot has finally disappeared. nice surprise!
