There is nothing wrong with CarbonLib. The errors described in other posts are not the fault of Apple, but of lousy "Winsipid" programming by people at Intuit, AOL, and elsewhere who can't follow standards. I guess they think Aqua, Cocoa, and Carbon are iMac color schemes.

caused Quicken 2001 Deluxe to unexpectedly quit for me too with an error of type 3. I saved version 1.5 because I had this problem before. Intuit told me that if I updated to version 2003, which has been tested with carbonlib 1.4, it may work with carbonlib 1.6. If it doesn't , Intuit said they would give me a refund.
