Amadeus II ReviewLong time user... still happy, best noise filtering - Version: 3.8.7, 9/6/2007 03:07PM PST

As a long time user, I have been and continue to be a very happy user. I will be upgrading to the Pro version for my new Intel-based Macs. This is an excellent product with a long history of positive reviews. It is unfortunate that some recent buyers were not offered a better upgrade price to the Pro version.

how my comments were deleted from this forum, probably because they were not rosy for the developer.

I will state it again. I feel screwed by this developer upgrade policy from Amadeus II to the Pro version. I purchased Amadeus II within 30 days of Pro coming out, and will wind up paying more money than if I had just purchased the Pro version had I known it was coming out.

This developer is saying I should have seen the announcements on their website about the upcoming Pro version. I say it should be ANY developers policy to allow a no charge upgrade to a product if it was purchased within a 30 day period.

Amadeus II is nothing but a subset of the Pro version, and as such, I would have certainly purchased it instead of Amadeus II.

Not perfect, but very good. Allows you to fix a lot of flaws in your audio files, as well as custom mix medleys or edit long songs to fit perfectly on your CD mix. Very similar to Sound Studio -- both are worth the cost.
