Product Description:

SIMBL is plugin enabler used by many popular modules (most notably PithHelmet) to modify and extend various applications. The source and basic tutorials are available for developers.

What's new in this version:

  • fixed installer to repair even worse permissions (repackaged on 2009-09-20 due to another permissions bug)
  • injection mechanism is now much more efficient - only affect applications that have plugins

Seems to work & install just fine on PPC Macs. Everything is Universal.
    So why does it say in the 'Operating System Requirements':
      This product is designed to run on the following operating systems: Mac OS X 10.5 Intel

I had permission problem with "/Library/ScriptingAdditions" folder after (re)install SIMBL! (owner: unknown - Read and Write, Everyone - No access)

Fix:
sudo chown -R root /Library/ScriptingAdditions
sudo chgrp - R admin /Library/ScriptingAdditions
sudo chmod -R 775 /Library/ScriptingAdditions

Downloaded package says 0.9.5b but Get Info still says 0.9.4. Probably just forgot to change the Info.plist but....
