I've been happily using previous versions for years. This version crashes every time I push the button LaTeXiT!

Combine with Grapher.app for total newbie ease of use - Version: 1.16.1, 2/7/2009 03:14AM PST

I'm currently engaged on a scientific college course that requires essays and dissertations, and of course those require scientifically structured equations to be included and correctly formatted. With other commitments I have no time to learn the formatting structure of LaTex right now, but for all but the most complicated equations there is a solution: the Grapher application that comes with OS X. Crank up Grapher, open its Equations Palette, and you'll have access to drag and drop pre-formatted equation structures that you can combine. Then right-click on the equation you have built and Grapher will copy it to your clipboard as a correctly-formatted LaTex expression. You can then paste this straight into LaTexiT for final output to a paste-able PDF.
Why not just output the PDF straight from Grapher itself (it does offer this functionality)? Well, two reasons; firstly Grapher does not offer all of the symbols and suchlike that I want (eg. the 'odot' solar symbol); these need to be added in later in LaTexiT. Secondly, I've been unable to find a way to change the size of the PDF image that grapher exports; LaTexiT allows you to scale the exported PDF to whatever size you like.
It's a 2-app workaround, sure, but for someone like me who, at this point in time, has neither the time nor the need to learn LaTex, it's a near-perfect solution.

When I try to update directly from LaTeXiT 1.16.0, I get a signature error with the 1.16.1 file.
