Seriously, I just discovered this and it is fabulous. I have an iMac and a MacBook that alternate as my main machine, so I must constantly move files between them. This app makes doing so not only easy, but actually FUN! AND IT'S FREE!!!!

I love DropCopy, been using it for years. But what's with version 1.5.5b, I'm currently using version 1.5.7. Do I need to go backward?
Great product, but problems sending .webloc files

My son and I have used DropCopy for several years to send files to each other on our LAN, and we love it. It's a great and easy way to share files. I wish there was a PC equivalent that I could use to share files with my Dell. I've rated it at least 4 stars across the board, except for support.
However, and this just started recently, when we try to send Safari link files (.webloc), DropCopy starts archiving the file, but never finishes. We're both running version 1.5.3. We have both have "preserve resource forks" disabled, so it shouldn't be archiving the file at all. If I change the filename to remove ".webloc", it transfers successfully. Any other files transfer successfully. The two major changes have been replacing my router (shouldn't cause this behavior), and my son replacing his old TiBook with a new MacBook.
Biggest problem: I tried registering on 10base-t's support forum, but it doesn't let me register - it just returns me to the main support forum page. I tried sending 10base-t an email from their web form, but the email doesn't seem to get through. If it does, I haven't received any response. I rated support as two stars, giving them the benefit of the doubt, but the fact is, I am unable to contact them.
