Turning the graphics down a bit (1280x960, monitor is 16:10) for multiplayer definitely helps- even with my new MacPro 2.66GHz 3520 Radeon HD 4870- the single player is fine with all options on at my monitor's max resolution (1680x1050) save for a couple of loading hiccups but it loads MUCH faster than the PS3 version, plays at a higher resolution, doesn't have that annoying assist-aim 'feature' in multiplayer and you can lean left/right- not even an option on the consoles.

Considering the multiplayer; you're at the whim of the server's admin [settings] and that damned PunkBuster that serves as a blessing and a curse- especially when I'm temporarily kick/banned via PunkBuster for "Ignoring MD5 Tool Queries..."- personally I wouldn't play without it because I HATE cheaters! After having been at Level 55 for so long on the PS3 then to start from scratch is a bit of a hassle, as is FINDING servers I can stay connected to without the PunkBuster headaches. Whilst PunkBuster is 'doing it's thing' the game will hiccup and chop here n there as well... this also depends upon the server's settings as well it seems because some seem to play nice with PB and others not...

Either way I'm still having a lot of fun and would recommend it- got it for $39.95 from J&R in downtown Manhattan (you get the same price from Amazon because J&R serves as their third-party seller for this item).

Have fun!
