Product Description:

Debtinator helps you pay down your debt by intelligently finding all the money you never knew you had. Sure, we all sure budget better and plan for the future and pay off our debts, but the sacrificing is difficult. When the budget guru tells you to stop eating out so you can send that $80 to your credit card, he's right. It will help, but all you'll focus on is that you never get to eat out, not that you're saving 35 cents in interest.

Debtinator works differently. Instead, it looks for that little bit of extra money that you have and sends that to your debts. That extra $20 you find in your wallet every month. You don't miss that when it's gone. So just tell it that you want to eat out periodically and go to a movie and buy the latest video game. It works with you the way your life works to save you lots of money and get you out of debt faster.

What's new in this version:

  • Added option not to auto-archive items
  • Ensured that debts with non-zero balances cannot be archived
  • Payment plans are now less frequently flagged as dirty
  • Added ability to copy rows from the transactions log and payment plan
  • Added button to directly refresh the payment plan from the ledger screen
  • Added ability to filter transactions by date range
  • Related transactions are now selected and applied at the same time automatically (so debt's interest and payment hit simultaneously)
  • Fixed a bug that could cause junk data in the file
  • Fixed a bug that could cause upgraded documents to have funding sources out of sync with income
  • Fixed a bug with the prompt for opening files created by a later version of Debtinator
  • Fixed a bug that could prevent a file from flagging as dirty

    I have been working to get debt free for the last 6 years or so ever sense I lost my job and it took 6 months to find another one. In 6 months time, my debt went to around $21,000. Every year I made some progress to paying off my debt but after I started using this app for the past 2 years or so, I can now say that I am debt free and have a little over $3400 in the bank. I would have gotten there by myself but not as fast. I still use Debtinator to plan out what to save in the bank and what I may spend to help maximize my money. Debtinator has helped me to become debt free and put extra money back in the bank. If you really wont an idea of what to do with your money, you should give Debtinator a chance.

    I came across a bug during my first use of Debtinator and contacted the developer.
    Within an hour, I had a fix.

    The software is really good, and the support is better than any other product I used.
