AADCadminMy History: We were originally approached by an MLM agent trying to sell an 'online software' product that would eliminate our mortgage in 1/3 the time. Essentially, they wanted us to spend $3500.00 on a username and password to their website, and the software tells you how to payoff your debts quickly. (yes, it's a classic MLM scam debunked by Dave Ramsey & Clark Howard)
Enter Debtinator. For less than $30, we bought a REAL software product (something you own forever) that works... a $3470 savings over the competition. The software is easy to use. The concept is pay off your premiums early with your additional cash. Better manage your money.
If we follow the prescriptions of Debtinator, we're looking at saving $129,000+ in interest.
Sorry folks if I seem like a fanboy... but for $30 it's worth it. Definitely worth downloading the free Shareware version and trying it!!!
I Beseech You, Mr. Developer, To Stay With This!

EndlessFxAlthough I have not delved into this as deeply as I will, I purchased off the bat in support. There are areas in Macintosh application software development that are monumentally unclaimed. You jumped all over this one with both feet and swung around with complete ownership! It feels like you know a thing or two!
I hope you are well supported in this endeavor. I have noticed the updates; it appears you are putting a mother lode of effort into this project. You're on to something. Don't let go!
"Thanks for the slight reverie, the wee bit of Sunnybrook, the seeming loan of strength from the grand old Oaks, the short rest upon Apple Blossom blankets, the blessed breeze caressing away cares, for the shortcut around the mountain."
A Great way to make a plan to get out of dabt!

If you are serious about getting out of debt for good, then this is the app for you! And the $15 is a very modest price to ask considering the potential tens to hundreds of thousands of dollars it could save you!
If you're curious about what this app will do for you, the demo version should be enough for you to see just how powerful something like this is!
One of the things I like about this program is that it lets the user set all of the parameters of income and expense. If I want to spend $100 a month going to the movies (an example given in the manual) it lets me. I won't get lectured ;-) but It will reflect on how long it takes me to get out of debt!
After the user enters debt, income and expenses, Debtinator provides a plethora of different reports that allow the user to explore various payment methods, from paying down the highest interest debt first to paying just the minimum payments. Currently, the user can't make charts directly from the Reports Pane, but reports can be exported in Plain text delimited files so you can import them into Excel or OpenOffice. I would like to see charting added to the Reports Pane in a future release.
You can also export the report in iCal format and import it into an iCal to schedule payments!
Debtinator provides charts for various total "out-of-debt" payment plans. The user can also create a graph of how much money goes to paying the interest and principle but the program doesn't like the idea that the usre may still be in debt after 50 years(!) especially making just the minimum payments.
If the graphs that are provided aren't enough for you and you are handy in any charting program that takes delimited text, you can make your own charts. Especially if you want account specific charts since the current charts reflect all debt and income.
Debtinator helps to show you how much cash you have on hand. In my case, I realized that was quite a bit more than I felt like I had with all this debt hanging over me. The primary purpose of Debtinator is to come up with a plan to get out of debt! You may be pleasantly surprised at how easy it is to make that plan and get out of debt if you stick to it!
If you are feeling weighed down in debt and want to find your way out, use Debtinator first before you call those "Debt relief" guys on TV.

For the most part, this package could be the start of the next Quicken killer. We can only hope. Very happy with its abilities to date.

nett-dgnIn my opinion, the graphing capabilities component of the application could use some rendering to display a tighter single page format. Also the user interface, set-up and accounts configure areas could improve with the ability to display and appropriate liabilities, including either good or bad debt allocated accounts.
All the Best

After install I had no problem with the registration, and quickly set about configuring my individual accounts, debts, income and expense parameters into the applications set up panes. This application is great, I like everything about it. There are similar application both web-based and software designed that do what this program accomplishes. Some I've seen in the marketplace are thousands of dollars more: your application is simple to interface with and its price, well its price is simply amazing that its so inexpensive for what the consumer can utilize. I gladly support your shareware with hope that you endeavor to improve upon the capabilities of this debtinator software and keep it around for years into the future. Thanks for saving me alot of $$$, with the amount of cash I saved simply in purchasing your software and not the more expensive program, I might now purchase one of those new Macbook Pros laptop which has recently been released.
