Websites have changed a lot over the years, and a lot of these offline website downloading apps haven't kept pace. I used to use this App all the time (for static .html pages), but it hasn't been updated in over 2 years. I've been using SiteSucker for the past few months, and it's seems to be handling all the site downloading, with no troubles -- and it's free.
It sucks..., Well, actually it does not. - Version: 6.5, 12/16/2008 11:03AM PST

6.5 starts very slow, the color ball shows up. Then, it does not download the first website I tried, it only shows "robot.txt", whatever that is. The old 5.4. version downloads the website, but is extremely slow and crashes once an hour. ~/.Trash

There are clear improvements to v6 over v5.5. I needed to collect IRS documents from <http://www.irs.gov/pub/irs-pdf/>, and rather than pay $25 for something my tax money already paid for, WebDevil 5.5 seemed the answer. But it couldn't obtain the directory content (the pdfs).
Downloaded and tried the demo of 6.2 -- worked like a charm. They even have upgrade pricing for existing users ($10). Nice.
