Product Description:

ThermographX is an OS X utility for monitoring the thermal sensors inside late-model Macintoshes. ThermographX has the following features:

Monitors the various thermal sensors inside the Power Macintosh and PowerBook.
Records high and low temperatures for historical comparison.
Shows a short-term graph of temperatures.
Records & graphs long-term temperature history.
Dock icon for immediate temperature readout.

What's new in this version:

Updated to Universal Binary for Intel-based Macs.
Added sensor support for Intel-based Mac's.
Updated user measurements for all other models.

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

Additional Requirements:

Mac OS X 10.2.4 or higher; requires a Macintosh with compatible thermal sensors. It is known to provide accurate sensor readings on these models:

Not for Intel hardware - Version: 1.4.0, 11/6/2009 10:23AM PST

ThermographX has been running fine on my PowerBook G4 from OS 10.2.8 up through OS 10.5.8. However after stepping up to a new 2.53 GHz Mac Mini, OS 10.6.1, ThermographX days are sadly over. Fortunately several alternatives exist for Intel hardware.
