Plug-in is crashing FileMaker under 10.3.x when sending multiple emails (after 4 to 5 emails). Product needs work regarding user interface and stability.

I've used SMTPit for about 4 years, this is the greatest Filemaker enhancement function ever built. Great.

...I started running Panther on my dual processor Mac. Then, it started crashing FileMaker every other time when sending email or showing messages like "The number of computers using SMTPit on your network exceeds the number of licenses you own. This plug-in will no longer function." even though my machine is the only one on our LAN running (and the only one where the plug-in is installed). It still works without crashing when using CHUD to turn off one processor before launching FileMaker + my database, so it's most probably a synchronization/threading bug.
I reported this and more details to CNS three weeks ago, but haven't heard back from them, yet.
Summary: Don't use on dual-processor macs until fixed, otherwise a mature tool for sending email in FM solutions, with decent attachment support (incl. setting MIME types) and a rather clear API.
