Product Description:

Vocab helps you learn words in any European language - and Latin and Greek - quickly and successfully. It gives you instant access to all your vocab lists, and any other words you want to learn, making it easy to revise, easy to test yourself, and easy to become word-perfect in next to no time.

Test yourself against the clock, find out if you really know your words with random-order testing, and choose whether you'd like helpful hints for words you're unsure of. With Vocab, you can customise your tests in many useful ways. It also highlights any words you get wrong, and reinforces your answer when you get it right. Results are added automatically to a log, so you can track your progress and see how well you're doing on a graph. And the application also includes a useful widget that flashes up a different random word every time you open Dashboard, enabling you to give yourself a quick test at anytime.

It's the ideal way to get the best results and improve your language skills!

The first thing that happens after the download is a dialog telling you the widget is incompatible with the application! Wow that's intelligent authoring!

The second thing is a stunningly-EMPTY window. There are no words in this vocab, folks. It looks as though you must insert your own. Handy.

The app claims it "helps you learn words..." How? If you're typing in a word, you already know it.

"ANY European language"? "Greek"? How about French, Italian, Spanish, German, Latin. That's it, as far as I can see.

And the widget? What does it do? nothing, as far as I can tell.

    Plonk

Hey, I checked "Review" where is the ratings area? I was going to give it one star but VersionTracker screwed up.
