babL - 1.0.1

babL is a simple tool that could help localize your apps. You can build your own database with localized words and phrases in any language you want or you can import files from people that helped you with your localization. Many people would like to help (because they want your app in their language) but they don’t know something about the Interface Builder or UTF-8 and .plist files and working with a .doc files is not what they want and it is of course nothing you want… So, babL is not perfect - but it does its job and you can simply “drag� the localized word or phrase out of the table to the string (menu etc.) you want to localize in IB oder TextMate… The idea is to publish those files, so any (small) developer can use them to localize his/her apps. If you want to make babL a better software - please write to info@myownapp.com - you can have my crappy source :-) I hope that babL can be helpful…
