Product Description:

Odysseus is the Eudora style email client that has been under development since late 2007. Eudora has always been a best-of-breed email application, offering features that few other clients can compete with. Written from the ground up, the goal of the Odysseus Project is maintain that user experience, while at the same time building on those features to ensure Odysseus remains competitive in today's email market.

For a limited time, until Sunday, November 9th, users can Pre-Register Odysseus for $19.95.

Balancing out the mow-ron who rated one star because of an installation error that was his fault. Old time Eudora user here, high hopes for MailForge (cuz Rosetta is not forever)....

Just downloaded and set up MailForge v1.0.3 That "simple, elegant" manual functionality the old Eudora (v 6.2.4) had, seems to be in MailForge. (e.g. the Address Book layout is more straight forward than Mozilla's Eudora 8). The $20 early registration fee seems reasonable as well. Too soon to say if it'll be worth the $40 full program price point. That said, I'll hold judgment till version 2.0 -the full version- is released.
