I was using billings for a year when i decided To look further. Billings is a Nice product but i Don't want To wait Any longer on some simple features that are missing.
Grandtotal delivers all the basic functions and also the ones that are missing in billings. Grandtotal does that in a way that is so mac!! Nice clean interface and very userfriendly.
Great application, can't wait To see this evolve further in the future.

I have been using GrandTotal for several months in concert with TimeLog. Both have helped me to simplify my invoicing and estimating processes, by providing accurate and easy time-tracking, and the seamless integration of that data from TimeLog into GrandTotal. I also really appreciate the flexibility of the templating system, which allows for almost limitless design control.
Love it!!

I have been looking for the best Invoicing software for mac and really, GrandTotal just kicks ****. I LOVE IT! It's easy to use, very mac friendly, custom your invoices, very quickly and accurately, everything makes sense and you get a great overview on what's happening in your business.
After having tried Billings 3 and other softwares, seriously, nothing can beat GrandTotal. It's exactly what i need!
Fantastic job!

I looked for a invoice and timetracking software for many years. A few months ago I started searching again, and I found: GrandTotal and TimeLog.
They are both flexible for different businesses and applications and easy and very Mac-like to use.
Great job!

During my search for an invoicing app, I downloaded and tried many, many apps. I had specific needs for my son's towing business. Flexibility to put just about anything on an invoice, because you never really know what a tow may involve. Ability to easily create invoices for temporary customers using a basic set of invoice layouts. 98% of his customers are one-time customers. Being able to easily recall an invoice based on the vehicle, customer name, invoice number, date, amount, etc., all the basic stuff, is paramount.
Once finding the app that fulfills the above, the actual ease of creating the invoice was equally important. The User Interface is a very personal requirement. I favor single window interfaces, and then the workflow also has to be enjoyable and simple.
I discovered GrandTotal during its beta phase when I purchased TimeLog. At the time GrandTotal wasn't quite there for me, but I loved the User Interface and workflow experience. I submitted some requests, and got new beta releases within a couple of days max. So I was very impressed with the developer.
I now use GrandTotal for 3 different businesses - two are my son's, and one I'm just starting for my self. Customer invoicing and time tracking are two aspects of running a business I no longer need to slave over.
The basic workflow is typing in customer info, drag & drop to create the invoice, then print, fax, or email. GrandTotal keeps track of due dates, overdue customers, payments, totals, etc., basic stuff. One nice feature is even if I don''t have GrandTotal open (it's pretty much open all the time, though), the icon in the Dock lets me know when an invoice is due or overdue.
For a 1.0 release I'm well pleased.
I'm giving GrandTotal 5 stars because it does what I require, support is superb, and the User Interface is so darn nice it fits me perfectly.

The ideal partner for timelog (the only timetracker-software I was willing to use). I've imported our office billing layouts in no time. The interface is almost self explaining. It deals with different TVA-percentages.
I almost settled on MYOB First Edge,as it is a proper accounting software, but i couldn't stand the mess that software is in, and the fact that I have to pay for customer service. Quicken weren't eeven interested in releasing a Mac Australian version. Also tried all the others like Billings, On the Job etc... all sucked in one way or another.
The only gripe I have with GrandTotal is that it is quite more expensive than the others n its category.
