Product Description:

PowerGlot is an easy to use tool for software localization. It brings the ease of use of the Mac OS to developers willing to make their product available in the native languages of their users worldwide. PowerGlot extracts the text from your applications, lets you translate it, then builds the localized applications for you, all this with a friendly user interface.

PowerGlot supports Mac OS 8/9 applications and Mac OS X applications.

For improved automation, PowerGlot is scriptable (several scripts and AppleScript Studio applications are provided along with their source code).

What's new in this version:

Important: Fixed a problem with the Synchronize operation. It was sometimes creating incorrect associations in your databases. The problem you could notice was that some text groups would not be localized at all when generating the localized files. This version fixes the problem, but you may have to recreate your databases (use a glossary to pull the translations from the previous database and insert them into the new one). (Philippe Bonnaure)
Important: Fixed the 'nibtool' command line used when updating target files: the arguments did not work properly in all cases. PowerGlot automatically "fixes" your command line upon startup if you did not change it. Otherwise, open the PowerGlot Preferences dialog then use this text as 'parameters to get nibtool to update translations in a target file': "TARGETFILE" -O -I "TARGETFILE" -r -d "STRINGSFILE" (Ronald Leroux)

To prevent upgrading problems with AppleScripts, the executable has been renamed "PowerGlot" so that you don't need to re-select the software when running an AppleScript.

Added a shortcut for "Generate Localized Files... Updating Target Files", and changed the shortcut for "Overwrite Target Files" to not conflict with the standard Window Menu Command-M shortcut.
Implemented 'Select All' in text items list and glossary
Refined some of the user interface for better OS X integration
