...for me, either when a USB device is plugged in or removed, and when an already connected USB device is turned on or off.

Truly "the cat's meow"--and you can't beat free!

It works, but not as I expected.
It plays the sound the minute I insert a device, but not when the device becomes available, likewise, when I eject the device, no sound happens at all, at least not until I actually pull it out.
This is kind of useless, the main reason I wanted sounds was not for fun and games, but to actually know when the device if up and available, and when it is safe to pull it out.
Add these settings and you've got a winner!
The "Wait For..." features do not fix this problem. You must specify a volume name, and unless you can leave it blank or use a wild card, this is useless. Every USB device you insert will have a different name.
On the eject options, it still says "wait for disk mount" not "dismount".

I hope the author can adjust these problems.

I have 25 cats and only sorta like 3 of them, so I don't need to hear cats. I use them to kill mice on the property and put poison on them once a month. I use them as tools to kill off ticks, it worked GREAT.

What they don't get the chickens do. Everything pulls it's weight around the farm here, no free loaders. They do get the best of care though. The best food, The best Shelter, The Best Vet, and ONLY drink fresh ice cold spring water. No crappy well or tap water here. We drink what the earth pushes up for us to drink, like it should be.

This application is a great idea, but it would be cool if we could add our own sounds. I personally would have something like a voice saying, "Ouch, That F**Kin hurt", or "Master that feels so good, Please do it again", every time I plugged something in. I know you can make that, you have the power, PLEASE. Call it USBSounds, so I won't miss it when you do make it.

I would even pay for that.
