Worst App ever - Version: 2.0.3, 6/12/2009 09:23PM PST
MoonRunner--2008
Even after installing all the libraries it only connects to about every 10th station, reception is very poor, better to stream iTunes radio stations, they sound much better. I was hoping to tune in real radio stations. What a piece of junk.
In addition to previous comments there is no uninstaller. I removed it with App Delete but what about all the libraries.
Can anyone let me know how to get rid of all that garbage?
I would appreciate your help, Thanks.

This the worst app that has been produced in the last few years and the programer can not fix the problems that are sumitted to him.
The new versions are useless.

"isn't a streamer for internet radio"...

...well, except that it is. It's an audiocast player that supports a few different stream formats, preloaded with data for most US radio stations. You could listen to 99% of these stations already just by visiting their sites and opening whatever little flash gizmos they have. The convenience having them all in one place is probably worth a few bucks to many people. I'll pass though.
I agree with another reviewer that the list really should be searchable & sortable.

Is there a reason the window isn't resizeable? Most of the Genre information is cut off.
It would be really nice to sort on 2 of the 3 columns, Station - Frequency. Seems like it would be standard.

If you're having any issues make sure you install the additional libraries located in the Help menu.

It needs lots of work and I don't like the idea that I have to add fonts to my font folder, what's that noise about. There is another radio app and I forget the name, that works better than this but still is not good enough, but it has 50,000 station all over the world. Radio over the web is still new. It's not even into the walking stage yet, and web sites that use bogged down flash movies suck.
Cheap enough...BUT

Good idea...but like many others this one needs a bit of work. Advertised as "listen to 5000 stations" but tons of stations don't work. Probably not the fault of the programmer...audio streams come and go. But in each new release he should weed out the ones that are off the air and then advertise a 'real' number.
One bug that really needs fixing is that this program most times will stop playing in the background when I switch to another program (browser or email, or whatever). That's a deal breaker for me.
And a bit of a sneaky thing is that the programmer keeps coming up with 'new' versions, but isn't specific about what has been changed or corrected..."Fixed issues with issues fixed in previous release." What the hell does that mean?
Just a way to keep his program listed on VT every few days. I would stay away from this program for now.

1. all presets fail to work giving an Applescript error when set into the tuner panel
2. no way to toggle the lists alphabetically so you have to manually scan every single listing if you want a particular city only

"Due to circumstances beyond our control, Whimsicaly Plucky Software has to close it’s doors. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank all of the users of BackityMac, RadioRocker, DockChanger and VideoVangelist for their patronage. There is a possibility we may open the doors again one day. Until then I’ve updated all the products to remove all registration requirements and they are all now FREE. Any versions previous to these listed will no longer activate. You may still email me if you wish, however, no further support for the products will be offered."
All their apps are still able to be downloaded ATM. But they are all 'end of life', aka 'abandonware'.
