Good but one thing missing

The product is good, with very good ease-of-use and interface. Secure screen sharing and data transfer via SSH works well.
One thing is missing for a true remote control: if the remote computer shuts down and restarts, there is no way to log in since ShareTool only starts working once login is done. So login must be done with a competing product, e.g. Timbuktu, which fills this gap. This feature seems indispensable to me - if I want to control a computer remotely, I want to stay in control!
Minor bugs which have cropped up from time to time have been fixed. Right now there is a problem with interaction with the KeyChain in Snow Leopard which will no doubt be fixed soon.
The product advertises on-the-fly compression for data transfer, but is nevertheless no faster than a competing product (iGet) which doesn't do this.
Upon sharing, ShareTool can alert the start of sharing via e-mail. However, the e-mail gives only the local IP number, which is useless for connecting via port forwarding if the remote computer is behind a router with dynamic IP address. It should also give the external IP (like GetMyIP or DynDNS) and include it in the e-mail.

Sorry, just an observation. 1/2 of the top reviews are people who only have a 1 post history, specifically to gush over this specific app.
Sure, there is a real possibility that this is just a coincidence, and all I paranoid, but it is important that we keep the sanctity of Version Tracker, and let people know that this community notices these kinds of things, and those who try to sham us at VT should not get away with it.
But I am going to give this app a try, as it looks like a pretty good attempt at automating and creating a UI for a relatively complex procedure, Thanks

The problems I had were constantly the same: When I was traveling abroad, in need of the Tunnel to be there, the system would have hung itself up in an undefined state, stopping the system from rebooting (on automatic schedule to prevent the system to get in this state, but to no avail).
It would have needed a force quit every time, and their forums show I am not the only victim - the thread is open since an eternity with no final answer.
That kind of a behaviour contradicts the sense of the tool, because there is nothing you can do, travelling in Saudi Arabia to a hung-up system in Europe that refuses to reboot to get back in operations.
I am deeply disappointed, ShareTool overpromises and underperforms.
The documentation - e.g. what to do in a double NAT environment is non-existent. The "documentation" is claims, not information on what to do when your environment is different from the simplest of all. Not usable in a professional environment.
