Clipboard Evolved CommentaryLicense Should Be Labeled NAGWARE - Version: 2.32, 7/23/2009 04:23PM PST

From a developer's point of view, I can understand why a software package may be partially crippled during the trial period. On the other hand, when I am evaluating software, I personally like to give a program a good test for at least a week to be certain that it meets my needs. THE VERY WORST APPROACH as far as I'm concerned is what this program does: constantly throwing up a window in the finder to remind me to pay for it. I ALWAYS pay for software that I choose to use, but I will not even test NAGWARE that constantly interrupts my workflow. Forget it.

Clipboard Evolved ReviewI did not use it - Version: 2.18, 2/10/2009 06:09PM PST

I installed Clipboard Evolved and did not use after a week. It was more of an annoyance with a pop up window requesting buying it. Since I did not use it, it was removed.

Love the new options and visual effects.

Unlike others , never encountered a bug yet and been using this since 0.8 .

Too bad others haven't had the same bug free experience and nice to see VT has so many trolls that the admins here can't be bothered to delete posts from. Spam and a troll in the message below mine. Yippee!

Great Clipboard tool, and suits me just fine.

Buying this piece of software is wasting money, couldnt stand it for 10 minutes. It turned out to be a bit buggy and useless for me. iClipboard does better and it is free.

Clipboard Evolved Reviewannoying reminder - Version: 0.86M, 8/4/2008 05:10PM PST

They seemed to have fixed most of the problems with this but I'm not going to continue to try it because of the REALLY annoying pop up reminders to pay for it. I just dismissed one and less than a minute later another one popped up. (and this is after only 2 hours trial). Given as buggy as this has been you would think the author would at least get it to a release version b4 constantly asking for money. I don't mind an occaisional reminder but these pop up even when you haven't accessed the clipboard window.

Clipboard Evolved CommentaryJust Another Basic Clipboard Utility - Version: 0.86D, 7/17/2008 05:09PM PST

I've tried them all! Unfortunately not one can replace the ultimate one, which was iSnip.
I'd like to see categories for frequently pasted items and everything done right from the Menu Bar instead some window that seems to be stuck to Space 1.

Clipboard Evolved ReviewTotally Useful now - Version: 0.86A, 7/15/2008 03:53AM PST

The developer has worked hard and fast over the last couple of days to sort out the bugs in this little app and now it plays very nicely. It's good looking, simple to use and efficient. I have tried a great many of these types of enhancements and I use Shadow Clipboard and iClip and have done for some time. However, I see no reason why Clipboard Evolved shouldn't get serious consideration if you aren't looking for things like multiple clipboards etc. Give it a try. If only to see the cute window effects!

Clipboard Evolved ReviewStill totally worthless - Version: 0.85T, 7/13/2008 06:23PM PST

I load it up, right-click on the clipboard palette, and it goes into the spinning ball of death.
The application is not responding in Activity Viewer, and I have to force quit it.

I will keep trying a few more times as new versions come out until I give up.

I know it's new, and I will give them a chance to fix it, but so far every version has been worthless.

MacBook Pro 2.6GHZ, 4GB RAM, Leopard, all updates.
