Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble! ReviewDon't buy this game...if you value sleep. - Version: 1.0.0, 7/9/2008 01:03AM PST

Sanquinetta
It is a clever ruse by the developers to allow free downloads of the game only to find one is required to purchase to continue. They are generous, it took about 3 hours to reach the point in the game where purchase was required. The $20 that I gleefully gave up to continue the adventure was well spent. I have yet to finish the story line and have logged at least 20 hours in game.
Drat those Mousechief developers! Don't they know I have things to do? I am so impressed with the simplicity and authenticity of the game interface. The graphics and music suggest a 1920's feel without the complexity of an animated game interface. The story line is quite bizarre and twisted, but that adds to the intrigue. As suggested in previous reviews, it may not be for everyone, but for a lighthearted satirical time killer I have found it to be excellent. Keep up the good work, Mousechief!

Dangerous High School Girls in Trouble! Developer NoteThis is a piece of social satire. - Version: 1.0.0, 6/15/2008 11:58AM PST

Dear Sandy Fontiwt,

Your comment notes that you did not play this game.

It's certainly not a game for children. That's why we rated it for TEENS and older. (as noted on our website) The gameplay is meant be naughty, but not mean or destructive. Your gang of girls go out into the world and confront meanness and destruction. They must survive and overcome it. By the end of the full story, they drive their town to see it's failings. The game is social satire. So yes, there are lousy things in the world. The full story offers a tiny note of insight into why and how to deal with or prevent them, hopefully in a fun way that isn't preaching.

For example, during the tutorial players have to overcome the adversary, Bully Girl. A little experimentation reveals that the quickest way to defeat her is to ignore her.

Who would ever think a game might want to improve the world? What's that old, feminist slogan? 'A well-behaved woman rarely makes history.'

I hope you'll try it out with that in mind.
