Well, we have something for you: Speedy Mac lists your recently used web pages grouped by site, in this way you find quickly a page you visited lately. The same applies for the favorites pages: every entry is automatically placed inside its own site group.
Task Menu
There are things you always dreamt to do with your Mac but you don't had courage to ask: hide or quit all running applications at once, create a folder establishing the name and the location of it before to create it, eject all removable and external disks at once, open quickly a web page regardless of the incredible number of other windows are covering your first web browser window... well, now you can do it: the Task menu of Speedy Mac is here to fulfill your wish. And, if your desire is not soddisfied by the available tasks, you can create a new one in minutes using Automator or AppleScript Editor.

How many times do you need to open the folder that contains an opened document to find another one you know is located in the same folder? I was disappointed by this application's lack of support for different web browsers, in my case OmniWeb, but I was pleased to receive good customer support by email and on the help forums assuring me that support for OmniWeb would be added in the next release. There are dozens of launcher applications out there, but Speedy Mac sets itself apart with its floating bar approach and nice implementation of favourite and recent items as well as quick access to Apple Script tasks. The price is a little high, but not absurd, and they offer student discounts. In the end, it was the strong support that sealed my decision to buy. I don't mind paying the price so long as the developer genuinely cares about its users' needs.

From time to time a great new Mac application is released that change the way we work and enjoy our Mac. This is the case of Speedy Mac 2008b. Really Mac look and feek, easy and intuitive, yet powerful. A real productivity boost, saving clicks and time all day long! Kudos for this jewel!

This applications almost was a pleasent suprise since their are already a thousand launcher applications on the market, except this one almost brings back the beloved "Classic" workstrip in OS 9. The place where this fails its that its a bit on the pricey side in a already overcrowded category and it dosn't collasps when you click on its tab like the old workstrip. Besides that its simple and it does what it say's. What I would love to see in its development future, is the ability for the user to display the menu items on the strip its self, would'nt it be great to help an already overcrowded piece of real estate on the desktop!
