GPS2Aperture Lite is a free and easy to use geotagging application for use with Apple's Aperture and Google Earth.
  • View an image's GPS position in Google Earth
  • Edit the GPS position of an image.
  • Copy positions from Google Earth to images in Aperture - no GPS device required.
  • Have Google Earth automatically jump from position to position as you navigate through images in Aperture.

What's new in this version:

First beta release for Aperture 2.

Operating System Requirements:

This product is designed to run on the following operating systems:

  • Mac OS X 10.5 Intel
  • Mac OS X 10.5 PPC

Additional Requirements:

  • Aperture 1.5.6 or above.
  • Aperture 2.1 or above required for embedding of GPS data.
  • Google Earth 4.0.2 or above.
  • Not tested on OS X 10.4 but it should work.

After I got my Solmeta DP-GPS N2 I was looking for ways to have a look at where the pictures have been taken without uploading them to any service or embedding them in KMZ files.
Well, here's the solution! Works flawless - I'm happy.

And I "discovered" Aperture Assistant at the programmer's site which I'm going to test after my next day out with the camera.

No, I'm not affiliated in any way, I just like what I get ;)
