I love the built-in support for dialing the AddressBook with Quicksilver, as well as the AddressBook plug-in, and being able to dial any phone number on a web page or email. It works beautifully with Google Voice! Very nice!!!
After installing and using it my system crashed.

I gave this a try since Tidbits recommended it. It didn’t work for me. So I quit it and trashed it. Shortly after that I rebooted and checked my system (OS-X 10.5.1) with DiskUtility. It got caught in an endless lope of reporting the same error. I rebooted; tried to repair things with the correct version of DiskWarrior and TechTool Pro. Neither could do anything with my HD. I know port hoc, ergo propter hoc is a logical fallacy, but prior to Dialectic I had had no troubles and afterward the pain to resstoring from back up a ravaged system. So I pass this on in the hopes of helping others.

As the title says, a terrific little application; one that has earned its place as one of my login items. No more dialing or misdialing; no programming of speed-dials, just a click in my OS X Address Book and in seconds I'm talking on either my cordless or landline.
Many many functions, but the ease of dialing via USB modem is well worth the price of admission.
A worthy successor to Jon's Phone Tool (the previous incarnation) that also comes with a friendly, responsive developer.
Go, buy, exalt.

definitly a 5-star app. Jons Phone Tool (JPT) was already great but this one is even more versatile than JPT and works great. The devoloper is very responsive and will help you in every way!
