T.B.A. is $50, not the $150 that is listed on Version Tracker. I don't know how the pricing works, but I'd imagine that it is an error on the software developer who submitted the program.
Anyway, I just bought it because as an active artist it is very worth it to me. If this means that I don't have to use ledger books and notebooks to handle this info I'll be very happy. Being able to track sales, pieces, collections and contacts all in one database? It is perfect for me.
One thing I'm interested in is how far I can push this software as far as amount of work in it. Hopefully there isn't a point where too many entries make it sluggish.

$150 without even a dog & pony show? My hat is off to most software developers, but software is not going to make an artist... Get a grip, pal!
Both products are clean and thoughtfully designed. ToBeArtist offers more capability in the areas of Contacts and sales invoicing. Artist's Butler is simpler and yet more capable in its inventory documentation and viewing options, and my sense is that it is better integrated across all of its components. You can spend an awful lot of time entering information into ToBeArtist. I hate this part of getting organized. Artist's Butler accomplishes this much easier.
