Product Description:
MindNode is an elegant and simple-to-use mindmapping application for the Macintosh. It was created with the user in mind and features a very simple and intuitive user interface that lets the user focus on expressing and developing ideas. Nearly no time is required to learn the interface. MindNode is based on the same codebase as the commercial version. While it is still a very powerful application, it misses some of the features added to MindNode Pro that help improve your productivity.
What's new in this version:
- Fixed an issue that resulted in setting a stroke width to zero, which in turn caused a crash during selecting.
- Added a new user default to automatically inherit the style when reconnecting (MindNode Pro) or copying (MindNode and MindNode Pro). This key is hidden in this release and will be exposed in 1.5. Adding this key in this release will enable a graceful transition for existing users.
- Correctly reports an error when trying to load a document created with a newer version of the application. This change is also in preparation for 1.5.
- Fixes a problem with plain text export. Exported plain text documents will now load correctly in TextEdit.
- Significant performance improvement when saving large mind maps. Previously saving a large mind map could result in "beachballing".
- Updated MindNode (touch) export format in preparation of the upcoming MindNode (touch) 1.2 update.
- Fixes errors in the documentation.

Easy to use and free! The shareware Pro version has some nice add'l features so it's worth a look also.

Just mind mapping. GREAT. If you know how to use a mouse, you know how to create mind maps. Simplicity at it's best. Thank you.

It's the crazyest stuff I've ever seen for making mind maps in absolutely no time, and it's really Mac-adapted, just like I like to work with my Mac. Of course, there are more sophisticated programs for mindmaps, but why buying a Ferrari just to get a newspaper around the corner? The topic is, that there is no explanation how to use it, because there is no need for it. It's absolutely self-explaining, by trial and error. Don't hesitate to acquire this really helpful software. And it works with all the well known shortcuts.
