Yeah, I'll try this. Normally when you control click a flickr photo to save image, they are all called spaceball and are protected, and won't download the actual photo. That's why I just use shift command 4, then drag the cross hairs over the image. I never felt the need to download whole sets of peoples photos. I only download the best of the best, which 90% are just hot chicks.

Tang for breakfast, Tang for lunch, Tang for dinner, and Tang for a midnight snack.

Photo Grabbr ReviewDoes not work - Version: 1.31, 12/13/2008 12:20AM PST

AJJX
I can find a user and see their available photo sets but when I select one and click to download, it only pretends to download the images. There are no permissions errors or anything and it creates folders for the user and the album and even counts down the images it's pretending to download (1/10, 2/10, etc) but nothing actually happens. Waste of time. Just download images from the photo pages on the Flickr website. It takes longer but unlike this app it works.

This program is so hobbled and so gutted that there's no point to it any more.

Photo Grabbr Developer NoteBug searching for groups with spaces in the name - Version: 1.1, 5/13/2008 04:49PM PST

vtagle
Hm, there seems to be a bug with finding groups that have spaces in their names. I'm working on a fix but if you know the group ID, please use that instead (unless the group has no spaces in the name).

I totally love the utility. It took me a few tries to leanr how to find Flickr accounts by Userid or Username but once I figured it out, it worked like a charm.

My wishlist is for the application to default to download the original size and if unavailable, to select Large images automatically, essentially for Photo Grabbr to automatically download the largest possible file.

Awesome utility and works like a charm, impressive for a version 1.0.
