Product Description:
Jasper's Journeys is a platform adventure game in the style of early console games such as Mario and Sonic the Hedgehog. The player must guide Jasper through monster-infested lands to rescue his cat from a nasty witch, who intends to use him as an ingredient for her incredibly evil potion. Jasper's Journeys offers a mixture of thoughtful exploration, item collection, tricky jumps, and frantic monster pummelling action.
What's new in this version:
- Added continue game option - can now start from the last progress point.
- New title screen.
- High score table at end of game.
- Fixed bug: player no longer loses globes halfway through level 3.

Classic Style Platformer

This is a great old school platformer type game (run-to-the-right), with hidden passages, heat seeking magic fireballs, and all the great kinds of stuff that kept me glued to my chair for a long time. I'm in the middle of playing it and the levels and gameplay just keep getting more entertaining. This combined with a responsive developer make this a winner.
The graphics are certainly old-school, but that doesn't take away from the fun, and actually adds some "nostalgic" feel to it.
Give it a try, if you like platform games, you'll probably enjoy it enough to pay the very reasonable price for the full version.

I am really impressed with the game. The level design is quite clever and I like how particle effects are added to this 2D game to give that extra visual flourish.
It does get a bit tricky at times; I only cleared the first world in the demo version.

beautiful graphics, delightful sound and a charming retro feel. if platform games were my thing i'd love this, but they're not so i find it too frustrating to enjoy.
