Entourage Exchange Accounts Optimizer - 1.5.0

After years of being annoyed by our IT department to keep my Exchange mailbox size down, this is the FIRST tool that does this for me in a manner that I LIKE. Previous solutions involved created separate backup files in odd formats and seemed really flaky, this was great because it just moved the messages out of Exchange into an exact mirror copy of the folders structures in my local Entourage account...so searching for email messages searched across the 6 months of mail messages I now have the program keep for me in Exchange and the many years of messages that have now been moved to a local mirror of the organizational structure of my messages on Exchange.

It is brilliant, simple, foolproof, fast and worked exactly as expected the first time I tried it (within minutes of starting it up) and without have to read any manual, go through a wizard or anything.

1. Double click app
2. Pick which exchange account to slim down (if you have multiple)
3. Pick a local folder in Entourage to move the messages to and mirror the directory structure of your Exchange account in (I just called it "Exchange Backup")
4. Tell the program how many days of messages to leave in Exchange (I set it to 180 to leave 6 months in Exchange)
5. Tell the program to go. In no time flat it will move all the older messages to your local machine. It took less than an hour to move over 3GB of messages spanning 2 years off of Exchange into the local backup and left the 6 current months of messages in Exchange.

What can I say? It works!
