I just started using a Mac, so forgive the n00bidity.
Does this codec affect the encoding performance of Handbrake? Or is this just for QuickTime encoding (I assumed you needed QuickTime Pro for that).
Any advice would be helpful, thanks.

Just found this and the two other codecs.
With x264, the original 22 MB AVC file from the Flip minoHD is now a 4 MB MPEG file. Playable on a G4 Motorola with excellent rendition. Little or no loss in quality of playback from the original. QuickTime Pro is back in the saddle, again.
