What's new in this version:

FUNCTIONALITY

Fixed crashes when extracting parts.
Fixed bug where a transpose with piano staff transposed initial key "doubled"
Fixed bug transposing to wrong key signature on transposed staves.
Fixed bug with adding percussion staff included next stave's key signature.
Fixed some errors with slurs recalculation on justification.
Added auto-justify when changing # of measures of staff.
Fixed bug where page icons were not updated after page up/down.
Fixed bug in Note Attributes Window where changing note to "play" was inoperative.
Fixed bug where opt-drag top staff of a page did not change vertical position of following pages.
Fixed bug when adjusting # of Sys-per-Page did not retain the # of measures per system on following pages.
Fixed bug where switching Soundfont files corrupted patch list and caused clicks in sound.

PRINTING & SCORE APPEARANCE

Fixed errors with slurs/lines sometimes printing too thick.
Fixed bug where "this printer incompatible" error message sometimes appeared when printing.
Fixed bug where color background only printed in top left of page.
Fixed bug where a black dot in upper left corner would appear when printing score with a hairpin.
Added some extra error alerts when a print error occurs.
Fixed bug that accidentally saved score after a print error.
Adjusted printing of handwritten slurs to look more like onscreen slurs.
Fixed bug where slash notehead glyph was not drawn (just a line was used instead).
Fixed bug where black background would not draw.
Fixed bug where screen notestems did stayed thin when zoomed in.
Fixed errors where stems overlapped beams.
Fixed Graphics (tuplet beams, endings, slurs, pedals, guitar graphics, hairpins) to adjust according to staff size settings and have a slightly thinner thickness in handwritten mode.
Added some thickness to ending lines in handwritten mode.
Split "Anastasia Extended" into 2 fonts so that all glyphs can be accessed when typing in a text object or expression text.
Reverted Anastasia font back to mac-classic font suitcase (instead of new TTF file, which was causing dome draw & pdf problems)

INTERFACE

Fixed bug where Chord Window (via notehead click) did not initialize to default (last) chord when opened.
Fixed bug in Chord Window where "Custom" button didn't switch when click in custom text field.
Fixed bug with multiple scores having zoom/redraw conflicts.
Fixed bug with nudge rests/PED, 8va/ etc arrow keys were reversed.
Fixed erratic dragging of QWERTY range icon. (animation of drag is now disabled)
Fixed bug where mouse floated away from barline when dragging barline.
Fixed bug where lyric entry cursor didn't change to a + when mousing over a note in another voice.
Fixed bug where click on chord in pencil mode created a new chord instead of editing existing one.
Fixed bugs in Change Tempo Window causing numbers to be one less than user setting.
Fixed crash bug when setting tempo for a measure outside of current # of measures.
Fixed menu hotkey nudge up/down menu.
Added not undoable text for # for Meas-per-Sys and Sys-per-Page.
Fixed bug where InsertMeasure defaulted to "before".
Fixed bug where selection region was not removed after cancel-out of new score wizard.
Fixed bug when starting playback after a hairpin (usually with no start/end dynamic) the current dynamic could end up getting out of range and start sending corrupt MIDI data
Fixed some potential bugs related to mouse move/click and scores in background.
Fixed drawing bug in some noteheads in drummap dialog.

FILES

Updated and Fixed errors in most template files.
Fixed bug where MasterTracksPro files with a time base of 120 would not open.
Added some default settings when opening scores made with older versions (volume control dynamics ON, velocity dynamics OFF, humanize ON, MIDI device is increased by one to accommodate Built-in 2 port).
Fixed some potential bugs when opening a score saved with more MIDI devices than currently running.
Fixed bug where searching for a saved MIDI device wasn't happening when opening scores.
Fixed memory leak on loading scores.

LINEAR VIEW

Fixed bug where linear view barlines were not draw when zoomed out.
Fixed bug where adding measures in linear view did not draw staff lines of new measures.
Changed page up/down on linear view to scroll horizontally.

The newest upgrade for Encore 5.03 is a disaster. I have had to go back to 4.x.x There are serious alignment problems, there are serious tie and slur problems. It is simply a face lift from 4 but now there are more bugs than before. Buyer beware
