sonicraftWith sample libraries, it's a little tricky because an "instrument" will look in a specific place for the samples it needs. If more than one instrument need to access the same sample, it just takes more planning and organization to keep that alll straight. It might not be worth the space regained.
At some point, I had suggested that when removing duplicates, an alias to the remaining original could be an option. The developer explained why this might be a dodgy thing to implement. I like the basic way it works, once I got the hang of it. I have been going through various volumes and tidying up. I haven't had any problems with Chipmunk.
