TimeMachineEditor CommentaryFaceless -- How To? - Version: 2.5, 11/5/2009 06:36PM PST

Jason!
I don't have any problem with this running a Daemon. But I don't want that showing up in the Dock or when I pressed CMD-Tab to switch apps. In other words, please tell us how to make the Daemon "faceless." There has to be a way. NSUIElement? Please tell us how to do it.

This program screwed up my backups.. You can do the same thing by editing the PLIST. Now my time machine only makes 2 backups per day

TimeMachineEditor ReviewDaemon - no go! - Version: 2.5, 10/3/2009 02:00PM PST

I used to love this program because it did not install a background daemon to interfere with the system. There have always been other programs with daemons - something I never even looked at having the perfect solution with TimeMachineEditor. Now, for Snow Leopard, the developer changed over to the dark side. Maybe there is no other possibility - I don't care. I will not install a background daemon to take care of my backups. I'd rather live with hourly backups than using this version. That was it - good bye.
