No way to edit point types while drawing.

And the up and down arrows on the stroke width don't work.

    That was after 5 minutes.

It's very slick-looking, and I try and use it every time there is a patch, but so far it's not good enough for prime time.

Illustrator 1.1 on my Mac Plus had better bezier tools.

VectorDesigner CommentaryDear Tweakersoft, Art-worthy Gradient Controls please. Again, Art-worthy Gradient Controls pls. - Version: 1.4.4, 9/20/2008 04:28PM PST

Borrowing a quote from the movie Tommy Boy, and humbly adapting it to fit my request, ahem,

Please Tweakersoft, give us gradients, for the LOVE OF GOD!

Gradients play a significant role in the creation of many engaging vector drawings. The limitation of only two-color gradients is very frustrating. And while the ability to manipulate the angle of the gradient is appreciated, there doesn't seem to be any way to adjust distance of the gradation beyond what the little gradient gui window for adjusting the angle is confined to. And an easy way to save gradients as presets would also save a lot of time : ) Ultimately we need to be able to have more precise control over gradients via solutions like a gradient tool along with the appropriate properties palette for adding and subtracting colors as well as adjusting other gradient parameters.

While I understand and appreciate the software's commitment to Mac simplicity, I must point out that there is a distinct different between the user experience marked by Apple intelligibility and that of Fisher Price kids's stuff.

Even drawberry, a vector drawing application that costs $69.95 less than VectorDesigner, offers more gradient control.

Anyone know of any ColorPickers that do gradients at all? I currently enjoy Shades, Painter’s Picker, and Tangerine, but nothing for gradients as of yet, maybe it's not currently possible to implement as an OS X color picker.

I'd love to leave Adobe Illustrator FOREVER! I cannot stand Adobe anymore, they are a joke! But I can't accomplish much with the exceptionally limited gradient feature in VectorDesigner. I hope that this might improve in the future. Thanks!
