Product Description:

FontXChange can easily convert fonts to OpenType (PS), PostScript Type 1, and TrueType for both Macintosh or Windows.

Useful features include:

Batch processing for converting entire font libraries
Preferences to set font encodings
Font inspection window with preview
Support for many font encodings, including Adobe Standard, Unicode, Mac Roman, and Windows ANSI, and European.

FontXChange supports conversion of many font formats: Macintosh PostScript Type 1 (font suitcases and printer font files), Macintosh TrueType font suitcases, Apple dfont, Multiple Master, PC TrueType (.ttf), PC PostScript Type 1 (.pfb), and OpenType (.otf).

I am very interested in owning FontXChange; I am also a current owner of FontDoctor.

The developer's website offers a great bundled cost ($129.00) for both FontDoctor & FontXChange.

The current cost is $99.00 - FontXChange (single user)
The current cost is $69.99 - FontDoctor (single user)
The total current cost as separate purchases would be:� $168.99

The difference would be $39.99 !

There appears to be NO special price for current owners of "FontDoctor" to purchase "FontXChange." I still enjoy the confidence I have when using FontDoctor!

As of the date of this feedback, it has been one week plus several days, with no response from the company. I can only conclude that either no one is 'home' at Morrison SoftDesign, or worse yet, everyone has been layed off except the owner. Thus only one STAR for this program.

Wow! They want $100 buck to do what other apps do for free. When my share of the bailout package arrives in the mail, I think I'll part with some of my excess dough for this one.
